Sean Wilson is a trumpeter, composer, and educator based in Salt Lake City. Sean recently completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah, where he was featured as a soloist in the University's jazz ensemble and performed with its premier small group, the Michie Scholarship Quintet in addition to active perfoming work outside of school.

He has perfomed at numerous historic venues throughout the Salt Lake Valley, including the Gallivan Center as part of the Excellence in the Community series, as well as the Eccles Theater, The Clubhouse on South Temple, Kilby Court, Union Station, La Caille, Peery’s Egyptian Theater, and Kingsbury Hall. He regularly leads his own small groups throughout the Salt Lake area.

Sean is set to begin his graduate studies at New York University beginning in the Fall of 2025.
